A virtual world
A VR headset fills someone's entire vision and moves with their head. They get a completely natural peek into another world

This is no video game. Visitors to our worlds walk around with their own bodies and interact with objects just like they were really there.

Our VR sessions are explicitly collaborative! Groups of 4-6 people enter our worlds at a time and work as a team. When one group's done, the next goes in!

Will those who don't play video games enjoy this?

Yes! The games you will play as part of your AlignVR experience were specifically made for non-gamers to enjoy.

Will people who experience motion sickness get sick in these games?
|
No! Carefully developed VR experiences do not cause motion sickness. Because of how we design the experience, participants that have reported VR sickness with previous applications have completed AlignVR sessions with no problems.

Will my staff be participating in awkward role-plays?
|
There will be no acting of any kind involved in your AlignVR experience. Our system of learning actually relies on creating a natural response to situations rather than contrived role play scenarios. The activities are specifically designed to be a completely natural experience that occurs without any awareness of a lesson or message.

Can people with glasses do this?
|
Yes! Most glasses fit inside the headset — though if you have wider rims, they may not, and contacts may be a better idea.

What will we do in VR?
|
The virtual reality games you will play are designed as problem-solving scenarios that require varying levels of activity but no prior knowledge. You will work with team members to make discoveries, strategize and have fun together. You do not need to be an expert at anything to enjoy these activities!

Do we come to you or do you come to us?
|
If you're in Alberta, you are welcome to come to our Alberta Training Centre in Edmonton. We are also fully equipped to run an AlignVR session in a pop-up format throughout Alberta either in your office if you have a 20' x 20' empty space, or in a nearby facility we will arrange.
