Creating a better way to hire, train, and coach for recruiters and HR departments
We noticed something. When people went through our VR entertainment products, we saw personalities arise and work together toward success — or clash and stumble.
Away from the sensory input of the real world, focused on the tasks and problems in front of them, leaders, collaborators, and competitors became obvious.
We did some research — and a lot of testing. What we found is VR is uniquely positioned to help solve the age-old problem: how do you know what a candidate for a job is really like?
What we built is AlignVR. Our virtual reality technology puts a cognitive load on the candidate's mind to suppress impression management (the natural conscious or subconscious mental effort of making a good impression). This prevents them filtering, altering, or manipulating the information that they communicate — it takes their guard down.
This brings out those vital soft skills. The observers watch natural, unfiltered behavior from the candidates across a variety of scenes, allowing them to evaluate the soft skills that make or break a quality hire more accurately than ever before.
